A school bus driver was arrested and is facing charges after a crash that killed at least five children in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The bus was carrying kindergarten through fifth grade students when it crashed Monday afternoon.

23 of the 35 children on board were taken to the hospital.

The school bus was the only vehicle involved in the crash and was mangled around a tree at the scene.

24-year-old Johnthony Walker was arrested and is now facing five counts of vehicular homicide, reckless endangerment and reckless driving.

More charges may be added as the case moves on to a grand jury.
