MSU Dealing with Server Breach; Records Confiscated
Personal records for hundreds of Michigan State University students and employees were accessed during a server breach.
The university says an unauthorized party gained access to the records Sunday.
It includes about 450 current and former students and employees. And contains things like names, social security numbers and university ID numbers.
Campus Police are working with federal authorities to investigate. MSU is offering free credit monitoring to those affected by the breach. For more information on the breach click here.
