4C Foods Corp Recalls Grated Cheese Products Over Salmonella Concerns

Check your fridge for Parmesan cheese.

The 4C Foods Corp. is recalling some of its products over a possible salmonella contamination.

The recall is tied to grated Parmesan Romano and imported Italian pecorino Romano cheeses.

The company says the recall is a precautionary move, and no one has reported getting sick so far.

The recalled products are all in vacuum sealed glass jars with best by dates between November 12, 2016 and November 12, 2018.

They are sold in six- or 12-jar packages.

The company is recalling the following products:

– 4C 6 oz.  All Natural Parmesan Grated Cheese packed in vacuum sealed glass jars

– 4C 6 oz.  All Natural Parmesan/Romano Grated Cheese packed in vacuum sealed glass jars

– 4C 6 oz.  All Natural 100% Imported Italian Pecorino Romano Cheese packed in vacuum sealed glass jars

– 4C 6 oz.  HomeStyle All Natural Parmesan Grated Cheese packed in vacuum sealed glass jars

– 4C 6 oz.  HomeStyle All Natural Parmesan/Romano Grated Cheese packed in vacuum sealed glass jars

– 4C 6 oz.  HomeStyle All Natural 100% Imp Italian Pecorino Romano Cheese packed in vacuum sealed glass jars

– Cento 6 oz.  Parmesan Grated Cheese packed in vacuum sealed glass jars
