Last month a dozen dogs were stolen from an Emmet County home. Now, 11 of those 12 are back home.
The dogs were last seen at a home in Friendship Township, north of Harbor Springs.
Emmet County deputies said the owners went out to feed their six bear-hunting hounds and six puppies, and instead found the roof of the dog houses ripped off and no dogs.
The sheriff’s office says the dogs were found downstate and now back home with their owner.
The investigation is still ongoing.
