Senator Debbie Stabenow Comments On Historic Election

Northern Michigan’s News Leader was able to connect with Senator Debbie Stabenow Tuesday night.

She’s been a strong supporter of Hillary Clinton through her entire campaign.

With the race still up in the air, she weighed in on either potential winner.

“I think that we have a situation where if Mr. Trump is president then he’s going to have to make decisions as to what he thinks is best and as a country we will have to decide how we are going to work with him. From my perspective it’s very important that no matter who is elected we work together to get things done. When I think about my 90-year-old mom campaigning, having the opportunity. I think about my daughter and my little granddaughter. This really does send the message that every little girl can dream the biggest dreams and be successful in America,” says Senator Debbie Stabenow.
