Veterans Day is just a couple days away.
And some local restaurants are planning to give back.
The Timbers Restaurant in Cadillac will give veterans a discount on their meal if they come in on Friday.
Veterans will get 25% off their order.
The Timbers Restaurant has never done anything like this before, and their manager says she’s excited to support the people who have dedicated their lives to serving our country.
"We decided that we wanted to do something extra special this year for our veterans. We just really wanted to reach out and let the veterans know that we are here and we support them," said Meike Lorenz.
The Timbers hopes to make the discount a Veterans Day tradition.
