Traverse City Area Chamber Hosts Economic Outlook Breakfast and Expo

Tuesday Traverse City area businesses got a chance to network and hear about local and statewide economic trends.

It’s all part of the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual Economic Outlook Breakfast and business expo.

Tuesday morning hundreds of guests heard where the region is when it comes to economic growth in businesses and how the election and future laws may impact their businesses.

Then a smooth transition to the expo–a chance to put what they learned to work.

Executive Director of Venture North Funding and Development, the organization that helped the chamber put the two events on, Laura Galbraith, says, “It’s a really good reason why this expo exists is because it really brings those people together so that they can find the resources they need, they need employees, they need new clients, they need new suppliers they’re all available today at the business expo.”

The expo featured 140 businesses and attracted more than a thousand attendees.
