America votes on Tuesday and Michigan is taking center stage.

Candidates and supporters of both sides are streaming into our state.

Donald Trump was back Sunday, making another push as the clock keeps ticking.

9&10’s David Lyden was there to hear Trump’s speech and continues our Election 2016 coverage.

There’s no doubt Michigan is officially in the Battle ground state category.

Sunday night in Sterling Heights, Donald Trump continued his last minute push to turn Michigan Republican red on Election Day.

“It’s the greatest movement ever in the history of our country, we now have to go out and vote,” says Republican Presidential nominee, Donald Trump.

Donald Trump clearly feeling Michigan momentum.

In front of thousands of supporters he left no doubt he’s going all in on trying to win here in just two days.

“We are fighting to unlock the potential of every community and every family who hope and pray and yearn for a better future. I’m asking you to dream big,” says Trump.

Trump hit all his usual talking points, trade, keeping jobs in Michigan, national security, and repealing and replacing Obamacare.

He was even joined by several kids on stage

“A Trump administration will stop the jobs from leaving America and we will stop the jobs from leaving Michigan. We’re going to be opening up new jobs, lots of new jobs and jobs are going to be coming back,” says Trump.

Supporters say they’re excited to see Trump focus heavily on winning Michigan.

“We’re valuable to him, we matter,” says Trump supporter, Leanne Pechulis. “It resonates with everybody young and old, every race, every gender, every age group, it’s amazing, we’re so glad to be a part of it.”

And Trump ended with the message he’s carried since day one of his campaign, now in its home stretch.

“We will make America strong and powerful again,” says Trump. “We will make America safe again and we will make America great again.”

This isn’t the last Michigan will see of Donald Trump either.

He’ll hold the final rally of his campaign alongside Mike Pence Monday night in Grand Rapids.
