Cadillac School Hosts Annual Autumn Auction For New Playground Equipment

A Northern Michigan school is raising money to buy new playground equipment.

Saint Ann’s School in Cadillac is hosting their annual Autumn Auction hoping to fund state certified playground equipment for three to 12-year-olds.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the door.

The event includes food, a $1,000 raffle drawing and music from the Gaylord Pub Runners.

Not to mention, almost 200 items have been donated for their silent auction.

“It’s just a really fun evening. We’ve got great food that comes out all evening long,” says Autumn Auction co-chairs, Cathleen Anderson and Ami Peltier. “We’ve got a cash bar. The public is welcome. The band is just so much fun. They get the whole crowd going and singing along, and the items up for bid are just incredible this year; sporting tickets to the Red Wings, 55-inch flat screen TV. We have a signed football helmet from Charles Woodson and another one from Cam Newton and lots of other good things.”
