Cadillac Business Throws Christmas For Seniors Charity Drive
A Northern Michigan business is working to spread some holiday cheer this year.
Rockin’ Robyin’s Ceramic and Crafts in Cadillac is hosting a "Christmas For Seniors" charity drive.
They are collecting gifts for seniors in the community.
With every donated gift, they will include a hand-painted Christmas ornament.
The public is invited to come down and help paint an ornament during business hours.
“I have a 99-year-old grandma in a home and luckily she has family that sees her every day, but a lot of times they just don’t and they’re just there,” says Robyin Lemke, owner of Rockin’ Robyin’s Ceramics and Crafts. “It’s kind of sad when you go and see it, so I kind of wanted to do something for the older people and kind of give them a lift.”
