MTM On The Road: Traverse City Empty Bowls Fights Hunger

The annual event Empty Bowls is a community effort to feed neighbors in need while also facilitating conversation on the local and international struggle. The November 6th event combines live entertainment, donated soup and bread from local restaurants, auction and gifted handcrafted empty bowls as a reminder of the ongoing need. About 800 bowls will be given away at the event, and tonight you can lend a hand. Join Blackbird Arts for an evening of bowl painting from 4:30-6:30pm, $5 suggested donation to help facilitate this effort of Goodwill’s Food Rescue.

Join us live at Blackbird Arts as we paint bowls for an upcoming Goodwill Food Rescue fundraiser. You can continue the fight against hunger tonight by joining their efforts.
