Every day, thousands of children in the United States wake up without a family.
Griffin is one of them.
This week, we meet the soft-spoken 11-year-old who loves music, football and dreams of the day he’ll have a family he can call his own.
Griffin’s favorite animal is the cheetah.
“My favorite animal is the cheetah. It runs really fast, and I like its spots and the color of its fur,” says Griffin.
Griffin wants to be a singer when he grows ups.
“The kind of family I would like would probably be a mom, and dad and an older brother that I could look forward to growing up to be like him,” says Griffin. “If you want an active kid, you should get me.”
Grant Me Hope is a collaboration between WWTV, Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange, Teddy’s Transport and the business community — all working together to find foster children a forever home.
