A Grand Traverse County man was sentenced Monday after a drunk driving crash this summer sent him to the hospital.
The accident happened on US-31 near the Grand Traverse and Antrim County lines.
Back in June, the Antrim County Sheriff’s Office says Kevin Tighe was speeding through the county at more than 100 miles per hour.
He hit a culvert, went airborne and crashed into a telephone pole.
Monday, he was sentenced to 34 to 120 months in prison for drunk driving and for being a habitual offender.
