Body Found on Grand Traverse County Beach
A body found on a beach in Grand Traverse County, now deputies are investigating.
The Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Department says they got a call around 10:30 Sunday morning after someone says they found a body on the beach near the 9000 block of Center Road in Peninsula Township.
Deputies say the body is that of a 49 year old woman who lives in the area.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday as the case remains under investigation.
