Grand Traverse Rural Fire Chief: Two Green Lake Township Fires Not Related

Monday night’s was the second in Green Lake Township in less than 24 hours.

The Rural Fire chief says that the two are not related.

Monday Morning the Grand Traverse Rural Fire Department responded to a home under construction on Rogers Road.

There is nothing left of the home, which didn’t have utilities hooked up yet.

The Grand Traverse sheriff’s office, along with a state police fire inspector continue to investigate what started that fire.
