Mylan to Expand EpiPen Savings Program Amid Drastic Price Hike
The company under fire for drastically hiking the price of EpiPens says it has a plan to help more patients afford it.
Mylan NV announced Thursday morning that costs will be reduced through a savings card that will cover up to $300 for an EpiPen two-pack.
The company said it’s also doubling eligibility for its patient assistance program, which they say eliminates out of pocket costs for uninsured or underinsured patients.
Right now, the list price for a two-pack is more than $600.
