Portion of US-10 In Mason County Reopens After Crash
A Mason County Road is back open after closing due to a serious crash.
The Mason County sheriff’s office is investigating a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck on US-10 in Branch Township near Walhalla.
Deputies say a pickup truck traveling east on US-10 was trying to turn left into a parking lot near Taylor Road.
The pickup truck turned in front of a motorcycle and the motorcycle hit the passenger side of the truck.
The motorcyclist was seriously injured and taken to a Grand Rapids hospital by helicopter.
The driver of the pickup was not hurt but the passenger had minor injuries.
US-10 was closed for two hours because of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
