Traverse City Police Arrest Man Accused Of Being Drunk With Gun On Front Street

Traverse City police got a concerning call from North Peak Brewing Company Sunday night.

A man was wandering in and out of traffic on Front Street.

Police found the Sault Ste. Marie man by the CVS Pharmacy along West Front Street and Division.

A preliminary breath test results came back at .249 percent.

Police also found a loaded pistol in his pocket.

Chief Jeff O’Brien says the man had a permit, but officers arrested him for being drunk with a firearm.
