Mason County Sheriff’s Department say they are investigating a serious three car crash at the intersection of Brye Road and US-10.
The Sheriff says the accident happened just before 6pm Thursday, and the road was closed until 8:30pm.
Sheriff Kim Cole says a minivan was traveling southbound on Brye Road, turning onto US-10 when it was hit by a pickup truck heading west on US-10. A third vehicle heading north on Brye Road was also involved in the crash.
A woman in the minivan was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Right now the Sheriff’s Department is getting conflicting reports on who had the right of way and would like witnesses to call them if they have any information. Their number is 231-843-3475.
