Two Northern Michigan Men Sentenced After Pleading Guilty to Home Invasion

Two Northern Michigan men accused of breaking into a home have been sentenced.

Nicholas Keagle and Cody Ockert were arrested in May after breaking into an Elk Rapids home.

The homeowner was inside and fought one of them off.

Earlier this month the two pleaded guilty to second degree home invasion.

Keagle was sentenced to at least two years in prison.

Ockert was sentenced to 10 months in jail and two and a half years’ probation.
