Mini Coopers Cruise Through St. Ignace To Raise Money For Feeding America

A cruise with a cause.

Thousands gathered in St. Ignace Friday with their Mini Coopers.

The group held a rally Friday morning in St. Ignace as part of a cross country trip to raise money for Feeding America.

Every year "Mini Takes the States" gathers thousands of Mini Cooper drivers to take to the highway for a greater cause.

This year, it’s Feeding America.

They’ve raised money for more than 800,000 meals.

They work to help local food pantries at each stop.

Feeding America of West Michigan says it’s an amazing sight.

“It’s just really amazing to think there are people out there that are proud to support the issue of hunger relief and are excited about it.”

They began their trip in Atlanta, Georgia and will end in Palm Springs, California.

The Mini Coopers next stop is Green Bay.
