Adopt a Pet Tuesday: Aquilla, Winchester & Hawk
It’s Adopt a Pet Tuesday on Michigan This Morning!
This week we have Aquilla, Winchester and Hawk –just three of Northern Michigan’s many great adoptable animals waiting for a loving family to take them home.
Aquilla is a four-year-old Labrador Retriever and Alaskan Malamute mix. She’s spayed, microchipped and completely up to date on her vaccinations. Aquilla’s a sweet, funny dog who enjoys being active and, of course, eating. She’ll be perfectly happy with a family who will spend some time with her (and her toys), so if you’re interested in picking her up, contact the Ausable Valley Animal Shelter in Grayling.
Winchester is a two-year-old Great Pyrenees mix. He’s neutered, housetrained and up to date on his vaccinations. Winchester is pretty cautious with new people, so he will require some time to warm up to his new guardians. He should also be in a home with no young children, since he isn’t accustomed to being around them –however, he’s great with cats! Winchester is neutered, housetrained, up to date on his vaccinations and ready to meet his new family. If you’re interested in introducing yourself, contact the Chippewa County Animal Control Shelter in Sault Ste. Marie.
Hawk is a little three-month-old Domestic Shorthair/Mix. He’s neutered, housetrained and fully clawed. Hawk is a rambunctious little kitten who loves to play, so if you’re up for the task, contact the Little Traverse Bay Humane Society in Harbor Springs for a meet-up!
Tune in to MTM each Tuesday at 5:20 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. for more lovable Northern Michigan pets in search of families of their own!
