More than 1,000 Wendy’s restaurants across the country had their customer payment information hacked, with some potentially affected locations in Northern Michigan.
According to , chains in Clare, Gaylord and Sault Ste. Marie may have been impacted.
The company discovered the hack in February, but is just releasing this information now.
The stolen data includes cardholder names, credit or debit card number and expiration date.
The company says it doesn’t know how many customers are affected.
Wendy’s is offering to provide credit monitoring services and other protections to customers for up to a year.
