Traverse City Man, Kingsley Man Arrested For Attacking Homeless People

Police have arrested another person accused of attacking a group of homeless people twice in one week.

Early Wednesday morning a group of homeless people woke up to people kicking them, and throwing rocks and firecrackers at them.

One man was beaten so bad he was taken to the hospital and may need plastic surgery.

The next morning the group was beaten again and another man was sent to the hospital.

Police say the attacks are connected.

A 19-year-old Kingsley man and a 20-year-old Traverse City man have been arrested for the attacks.

Police say they are pursuing aggravated assault charges but additional charges may follow.
