FBI Won’t Recommend Criminal Charges in Hillary Clinton Email Investigation

The FBI director says the agency won’t recommend criminal charges in the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

FBI Director James Comey addressed the email investigation Tuesday afternoon, three days after FBI agents interviewed Clinton.

The director said Clinton and her aides were ‘extremely careless’ in email handling of classified information, but will not recommend criminal charges.

The Justice Department has been investigating whether anymore mishandled classified information that flowed through Clinton’s email server while she was secretary of state.
