TNT Arrests Five People in Leelanau, Grand Traverse Co. Drug Bust

A Northern Michigan drug team arrested five people in connection to selling heroin and crack cocaine.

It started Thursday when a Leelanau County man sold heroin to an undercover Traverse Narcotics Team detective.

He, along with another man and woman in his home, were arrested.

The investigation then led detectives to the Turtle Creek Casino in Williamsburg.

That’s where they caught two suspects from Detroit leaving the casino on surveillance video.

The man and woman, suspected of selling heroin and crack cocaine, were arrested.

More than $1,000 in cash and several grams of the drugs were seized in both cases.
