East All Stars defeat West, 20-13

SAGINAW – The East All-Star team jumped out to a 20-point lead at halftime and road that lead to a 20-13 victory in the 34th annual Michigan High School All Star Football Game on Saturday at Saginaw Valley State University.

In the second quarter, Austin Kosinski recovered a fumble and ran it 20 yards for the touchdown to put the East up, 13-0, and in the final seconds of the half, Paul Hurley hit Lindrell Mitchell with a 3-yard touchdown pass to give the East a 20-point lead.

The West bounced back in the second half with touchdowns by Nate Moore (Arthur Hill) and a Jake Smith (Ithaca) 23-yard touchdown pass to Dewitt’s Evan Conn. However, their comeback effort fell short.
