Big Ticket Festival Returns to Gaylord

A popular faith-based music festival rocking it out in Northern Michigan for another year.

The Big Ticket Festival draws thousands of people every year.

For many, the event is a highlight of the summer and brings in many well-known performers.

This year included Scotty McCreery, Switchfoot and Chris Tomlin.

The festival takes place at the Otsego County fairgrounds in Gaylord.

It started on Wednesday and features family friendly and faith based music.

People attending the festival can also participate in a number of events to help people around the world.

There’s also a 5-K and plenty of games and activates for people of all ages to enjoy.

“All these different things you can do, it’s outside of yourself and sometimes that’s really refreshing because we live in a culture that’s all about us, and so for a few days you get to live outside that. People feel something tangible here, something bigger, than themselves,” said Director Andrew Spanding

The big ticket festival runs through Saturday.
