Illinois Tornado Disrupts Chicago Flights
Many people are waking up to damaged homes and torn up neighborhoods after a tornado ripped through central Illinois.
Most of the city and suburban areas were hit with heavy downpours and intense lightning.
Airport officials say 325 flights in and out of O’Hare International Airport were canceled with 90-minute delays because of the severe weather.
But as of right now, all flights scheduled to and from Chicago at Cherry Capital Airport are resuming as scheduled.
Emergency responders say the only known injuries have been minor so far.
