Michigan Attorney General to Announce Civil Charges over Flint Water
Civil charges will soon be filed over Flint’s water crisis.
Attorney General Bill Schuette says he will announce the charges Wednesday morning in Flint.
This comes two months after the state filed criminal charges against two state environmental regulators and a city water employee.
Flint’s water was switched from a Detroit system in 2014, but wasn’t treated properly, which caused corroded lead pipes, sending lead into the city’s drinking water.
