City of Cadillac Encourages Residents to ‘Adopt-a-Garden’

You can now help beautify the City of Cadillac by adopting a garden.

Individuals or organizations can take up a spot on the Lake Cadillac lakefront or along the City Park.

If you’re interested, you can submit a plan to the city of what you’re looking to plant.

They’ll provide mulch, landscaping cloth and any other gardening tools you may need.

It’s cost-effective for the city, and a way for passionate gardeners to help make Cadillac a more beautiful place.

“The beautification of downtown Cadillac and the lakefront, where thousands of people on a weekend can come down, walk or enjoy the lakefront,” said City of Cadillac Parks, Forestry and Cemetery Superintendent Al Dumond.
