Petoskey Groundbreaking Ceremony Planned for Theater Complex

A groundbreaking ceremony is planned for a 500-seat theater complex in Petoskey.

It’s taking place at Petoskey’s Bay Harbor resort community in Emmet County along the shore of Lake Michigan’s Little Traverse Bay.

The Great Lakes Center for the Arts is hosting cultural art events, intellectual dialogues and arts education programs.

They will also include musical performances, theatrical productions, opera films and dance.

In addition to the theater the complex will have a community engagement room, rooftop terrace and donor lounge.

The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for July 2.
