The volunteer team of fire, police and EMS personnel serving the Mackinac Island area is known as the . The boat first arrived in May 2015 and allows the crew to perform emergency transportation off the island as well as marine-related operations. When it comes to training, the Mackinac Marine Rescue partners with the U.S. Coast Guard Station St. Ignace for a variety of drills on the water.
