Washington D.C. counted its last vote Tuesday evening, officially ending the democratic primary season.
Presumptive nominee Hillary Clinton got her final victory in the primaries, shortly after meeting with Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, who hasn’t dropped out of the race just yet.
Sanders says he wants to transform and influence the Democratic Party platform.
He says he doesn’t plan to endorse Clinton until they can agree on goals.
And the biggest of the Vermont Senator’s goals, is to defeat Trump.
A new poll shows the presumptive GOP candidate trailing behind Clinton by 12 points.
Now, both Clinton and Trump plan to win over Sanders supporters to help win the presidency.
