If you’re interested in buying some state-owned land in Northern Michigan, now’s your last chance to get in your bid.
The sealed-bid auction of 26 state-owned properties started on May 10th and ends Tuesday, June 7th.
All bids must be postmarked by midnight Tuesday to be considered.
They will be kept in a safe area until they are opened on June 21st.
There’s land available in several Northern Michigan counties, including Cheboygan, Clare, Gladwin, Kalkaska, Midland, Newaygo, Roscommon and Wexford.
The Department of Natural Resources says the parcels of land, which range anywhere from less than one acre to 120 acres, are isolated from other public lands.
Most of the land was acquired through tax reversion.
Proceeds from the sales will go toward providing future outdoor recreation opportunities.
