Newaygo County Sheriff’s Office Suspends Road Patrol Deputy

The Newaygo County Sheriff’s Office says a road patrol deputy has been suspended.

The sheriff says the deputy has defied election laws, department policies and on-duty political activity.

He says the deputy has been placed on paid administrative suspension throughout the investigation into his improper conduct.

It’s not clear exactly the deputy did to get suspended.
