Clinton Inches Closer to Democratic Nomination After Winning Puerto Rico Primary

Front-runner Hillary Clinton is even closer to becoming the presumptive democratic nominee after winning Puerto Rico’s primary.

The last crucial round of primaries is in California on Tuesday, where both Clinton and Bernie Sanders spent this past week campaigning.

After Tuesday’s election, Clinton says she hopes to unify the party and expects Sanders to do the same.

As Clinton gets closer to clinching the democratic nomination, she also inches closer to taking on Donald Trump.

The presumptive republican nominee is facing heat this week over controversial comments he made about the Mexican heritage of a judge presiding over a lawsuit against Trump University.

Clinton says Trump’s comments do not reflect good politics.

Her Puerto Rico win only leaves her 28 delegates short of winning the democratic nomination.
