Adopt a Pet Tuesday: Lyra, Cadence & Dewey
It’s Adopt a Pet Tuesday on Michigan This Morning!
This week we have Lyra, Cadence and Dewey –three great adoptable Northern Michigan animals waiting for a loving family to take them home.
Lyra is a three-year-old Domestic long hair mix. She’s housetrained, spayed and completely up to date on her vaccinations. Lyra’s a quietly affectionate cat who prefers to be around a quieter group of people. She has a slow-paced lifestyle, and therefore would do better in a home without any small kids. If you think you could make Lyra happy, contact the Humane Animal Treatment Society in Mount Pleasant.
Cadence is a seven-year-old Beagle mix. She’s housetrained and great with cats, dogs and kids. She’s pretty independent, and would do well with a house that has a fenced in yard. If you’d like to learn more about Cadence, you can find her at the Antrim County Pet Animal Watch in Acme.
Dewey is an eight-week-old Domestic short hair cat. This little kitten can be a bit timid at times, but give him some time to warm up to you and he’ll be friendly as can be. If you’re interested in meeting Dewey, contact the Wexford County Animal Shelter in Cadillac.
Tune in to MTM each Tuesday at 5:20 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. for more lovable Northern Michigan pets in search of families of their own!
