Grant Me Hope: Brian

Every Wednesday on 9&10 News at Noon, we bring you stories of all kinds of children who are hoping they will find a forever family to adopt them.

This week we meet Brian and some of his special friends who are helping him search for a family he can rely on for love, patience and trust.

Brian is 11 years old and goes by B.J.

Brian loves to be outdoors searching for sticks, going out to eat, swimming and playing.

Brian is primarily nonverbal, but he can say a few words and phrases.

He primarily communicates through writing. Although he is nonverbal, he is very intelligent. Brian attends a center based school and does very well academically.

Brian needs a family that will commit to spending a lot of time with him and getting to know him.

Grant Me Hope is a collaboration between WWTV, Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange, Teddy’s Transport and the business community — all working together to find foster children a forever home.
