Bowers Harbor Vineyards Sells Custom Wine to Help Local Lighthouse
A vineyard in Traverse City has created a new wine with proceeds going to a local lighthouse.
Bowers Harbor Vineyards created a Pinot Grigio with a custom label.
All the money is going directly to Mission Point Lighthouse.
The vineyard held a contest for the new label design and submissions came in from artists all over the state.
Traverse City artist, Ann Robinson won the contest, her label received the most dollar donations at a judging party.
“We’re always looking for ways not only to support our community and our neighbors but also the environment we feel like the light house is a perfect place to enjoy both the outdoors and the beauty that surrounds us,” says Director of Operations, Kristy McCellan.
The wine is $18 a bottle and available for a limited time at the tasting room on Old Mission Peninsula or online.
