Feelgood Tap and Batch Brewing Fundraiser
Charlevoix’s Bridge Street Tap Room and Detroit’s Batch Brewing Company are teaming up to launch the Feelgood Tap, which aims to raise funds for local and regional nonprofits in Michigan. On Friday, May 20th at 6 p.m. at the Bridge Street Tap Room, $1 from every pint sold will help to advance the work these nonprofits do within communities and throughout the state. This will be the first time the Feelgood Tap and Batch beer have made it to Northern Michigan.

Grand Traverse Conservation District’s 75th Anniversary Celebration
On Saturday, May 21st from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Boardman River Nature Center, the Grand Traverse Conservation District will be celebrating their 75th anniversary. Explore the Boardman River Nature Center, view historical photos and take a stroll through the nearby Natural Education Reserve trails. Also enjoy family friendly activities like hiking, as well as a movie and refreshments. The event is free and open to the public.

American Cancer Society Relay for Live of Emmet County
The American Cancer Society and Karmanos Cancer Institute at McLaren Northern Michigan are teaming up for the annual Relay for Life event. Head to the Bay Front Part West in Petoskey on May 21st from noon until midnight to help fight cancer. The event will feature a 5K or one-mile color fun run/walk, an egg hunt, live music, a softball game, obstacle courses, a celebration dinner and much more. Registration costs $20.

Michigan Adventure Race: Epic Edition
The largest adventure race in the U.S. is taking place right here in Northern Michigan! Head to the Ludington State Park on Saturday, May 21st for the Michigan Adventure Race: Epic Edition to join in the fun. Teams of one, two and three people will run or hike, bike and paddle their way through the wilderness for a 5-10 hour hunt for over 30 on- and off-trail checkpoints pre-marked on a topographical map.

Truck and Car Show
The Rogers City Area Senior & Community Center is hosting their 2nd Annual Classic Kruzers Truck and Car Show this Saturday, May 21st from 9 a.m. until 2:45 p.m. at the Rogers City Area Senior and Community Center. Enjoy viewing cars from all eras. The event will feature voting and an awards ceremony, food and a Grand Kruze, beginning at 2:45 p.m.

Northwestern Michigan College BBQ
Northwestern Michigan College’s 61st annual BBQ will be held Sunday, May 22nd from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Enjoy food, live entertainment, children’s games and activities and classroom displays. Tickets purchased before the event are $6, and tickets purchased the day of are $8. Funds raised from the BBQ will help support the school’s programs and equipment.
