Senate Approves Bill To Allow Visitors To U.S. To Drive In Michigan

A bill headed to the governor is aimed at allowing people from other countries to legally drive in Michigan.

The bill would only require drivers to show they are in the U.S. legally, and have driver’s licenses for their home countries.

Some Democrats are concerned it could lead to racial profiling, but amendments have reduced that risk.
