Snyder: State Will Reimburse Flint Residents For Water Used In May
Continuing coverage of the Flint water crisis.
The state will pay for water used by people in Flint this month.
It’s in hopes of encouraging people to run their water for a few minutes every day to help get anti-corrosive chemicals into the pipes.
Lead leached from aging pipes into the water supply after Flint switched its source to the corrosive Flint River.
Governor Snyder says he also plans to get more Medicaid coverage to the people of Flint.
