Manton Community Hosts Benefit to Support Woman Pinned Under Car

A Wexford County community is coming together to support a local mother who nearly lost her life.

Back in April, Stephanie Bogart Dehn was pinned under her car in freezing temperatures for about six hours before a friend found her.

She has been in the hospital ever since.

Now, friends are hosting a benefit dinner and silent auction with more than 40 items to bid on.

It’s all meant to support Stephanie and her family during this difficult time.

“Everything is so hard for Stephanie and her family right now, and we just really want to help them as much as we can and lift them up in any way possible, make it easier,” said benefit co-organizer Jolinda Piotrowski. “So we’re just trying to raise money to help them out.”

The dinner and auction will be this Saturday from three to six p.m. at the Liberty Township Hall in Manton.

If you would like to help or make a donation, contact co-organizer Catie at 231-429-5800.
