An Alpena County woman who pleaded guilty to neglecting more than 120 animals must pay thousands of dollars in restitution.
Tuesday, a judge ordered Deborah Lewandowski to pay $13,000 to Alpena County Animal Control for the care, housing and medical expenses of the animals that were rescued from her farm.
Lewandowski admitted to mistreating the animals and was sentenced to five years of probation in March, and that includes not owning animals.
