Grant Me Hope: Janelle

This week in Grant Me Hope, we meet Janelle.

She’s a 10th grader with a bubbly personality, an artistic side and dreams of seeing the ocean.

Janelle has been waiting her entire life for a family to adopt her.

Janelle loves swimming, roller skating and biking.

“My personality is very quirky. I’m dorky. I say that in a self-respecting way, because I love my dorkiness,” says Janelle.

Janelle dreams of having family.

“I’ve been waiting for a family for a long time, so it’s kind of hard to see other people get adopted, and I’m still sitting here, waiting,” says Janelle.

Grant Me Hope is a collaboration between WWTV, Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange, Teddy’s Transport and the business community — all working together to find foster children a forever home.
