Grand Traverse County Gas Station Fight Results in Arrest

A fight at a Grand Traverse County gas station led deputies to arrest a woman.

On Monday, police got a call from a clerk at the Shell Gas Station in Grawn.

They say a woman was punching a man in the face.

When a second woman tried to help, she was pushed up against a car.

The suspect left the gas station, but deputies found her at a nearby home.

The sheriff’s office says she was in a bedroom with several weapons but they were able to talk her out safely.

The woman fought back, but deputies were able to take her to jail on charges of assault and resisting and obstructing an officer.
