BIG RAPIDS – Ferris State senior wide receiver Jake Lampman has been invited by the Baltimore Ravens to attend the team’s rookie camp this weekend, the school announced Wednesday.
Lampman joins Bulldog defensive tackle Justin Zimmer and quarterback Jason Vander Laan, who signed free agent contracts with the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets, respectively, this past weekend.
A 2015 All-GLIAC First Team selection, Lampman recorded 731 receiving yards and eight touchdowns on 52 catches in his final season. He also carried the ball 14 times for 125 yards and four touchdowns to lead Ferris State to its second consecutive GLIAC Championship and NCAA Division II postseason appearance.
Lampman will leave for Baltimore on Thursday.
