Upper Peninsula Man Faces Several Charges Following Police Chase

An Upper Peninsula man was formally charged after leading troopers on a chase early Sunday morning.

A trooper was stopped in Naubinway near US 2 and Naubinway road when a man sped through the intersection without stopping.

The trooper followed him over yards and empty fields for about 10 minutes.

He eventually stopped near the intersection of Center Street and Blake Street and took off on foot.

The trooper was able to catch and arrest Ryan Jenarou.

He’s facing several charges including OWI, fleeing police and possession of marijuana.

Jenarou will be back in court in two weeks.
