Lions Take OT Decker with First-Round Draft Pick

The Detroit Lions have selected offensive tackle Taylor Decker from Ohio State with the 16th pick of the 2016 NFL Draft.

At 6-3, 315 pounds, Decker was named the Big Ten’s 2015 Rimington-Pace Offensive Lineman of the Year and a consensus All-American in 2015.

A four-year starter, Decker led the Buckeyes to the 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship.

The Lions have nine picks remaining over the next two days of the draft.
